Walt Alfred, President and Founder

Walt founded PTI in 1994—in his garage, actually. It's been quite a journey, and PTI is now a leading North American specialty paper printer and converter. 

Early in his career, he worked for another converting operation. After working his way through different facets of the company, the experience turned out to be instrumental in starting his own converting company. 

In the early 90s, the level of expertise and service among paper converters was not very high, particularly as it relates to direct thermal paper products other than facsimile and POS. Walt saw a great opportunity to carve out a niche business specializing in printing and converting this media for specialty applications. By introducing distributors to new and unique product opportunities with higher profit margins and educating them on how to differentiate themselves from the commodity arena, it has been a win-win for our customers and for us as a company. 

Married with two grown children, Walt is a world traveler and enjoys biking, hiking, motorcycling and skiing.

RoseMarie Hill-Rouse, VP Sales and Marketing

RoseMarie is an experienced sales professional with a career expanding over 35+ years.  RoseMarie joined the PTI team in February 2016.  She leverages her sales skills to aid partners in tag and label applications. RoseMarie's area of expertise is in the world of high performance films and hard to solve applications. She enjoys designing new products, and her goals are purely to help our partners reach their goals.

Her philosophy is all about providing quality choices, giving our VAR Partners choices that could save time and money when it comes to labeling. RoseMarie's team uses the consultative sales approach which allows them to have a clear focus on the end result creating not only a solution but a win/win scenario for PTI partners and a positive overall experience. Her interests include scrapbooking, sewing, knitting, needlepoint and cooking. She loves to travel and meet new people.

Joe Walkes, VP OEM Sales

Joe has exclusively managed OEM accounts for PTI for the last 20 years. He travels internationally to support media needs of Fortune 100 companies and is responsible for accounts with media use ranging from $5,000.00 to $1.65M annually. Previously, he was with NCR and was responsible for marketing the first online real-time banking system. Joe received his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from St. Peter's University and served in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Berlin. Joe is married with three children.

Brian Lewis, VP of Sales and Product Development

Brian is a hardworking and highly service oriented channel sales professional with over twenty years' experience in the AIDC industry. He has built a reputation for developing long lasting partnerships with both clients and vendors. He brings extensive knowledge of custom label applications, materials, compliance requirements and all on demand printing technologies. He is experienced in channel sales, sales management, procurement and product management. Brian resides in the Charleston, SC area with his wife and two daughters and enjoys cooking, running and travel.

Keith Jones, VP of Manufacturing

As the Vice President of Manufacturing, Keith serves as the company visionary, formulating company policies and goals directly related to PTI's growth through planning, implementation and directing of all manufacturing activities.

Keith started with PTI in March of 2017 and has worked in the printing industry for the past 30 years. By nature, Keith is a  self proclaimed "geek" (so much of his spare time is spent learning new technologies).

Walt Skinner, Sr. Account Manager, VAR Partner Channel

Walt joined the PTI Sales Team in February 2018. With more than 30 years' experience in the printing industry, Walt has a proven track record of working with both end-users and the VAR Channel, and he strongly believes in solution-based selling. Walt has trained many VAR Partner Sales Teams as it pertains to selling the correct substrate and adhesive (think solution) to meeting their end user’s application requirements. 

"What attracted me to PTI was the team Walter Alfred has assembled," Walt said. "Their dedication to paying attention to details, as any fine craftsman would, impressed me. In addition, PTI offers a wide variety of products which many converts simply cannot provide."

Walt's hobbies include camping, boating, fishing, and trap shooting.

Jennifer Hale, Senior Sales Support

Jennifer is better known in the media industry as Jennifer Grove. She joined PTI in April of 2017. She has 15 years' experience in the printing/media business. Jennifer’s greatest strength is helping others achieve their success. She has the insight, knowledge and experience of the industry to help clients attain the success with their applications needs. 

Away from the office she enjoys being outdoors. She enjoys camping, hiking, traveling and spending
time with her family. Jennifer and her husband have 3 grown children. As any mother her children are her pride and joy. She also has a soft spot for her animals. She has several pets which now has grown to a small farm.

Sue Willig, Director of Client Services

Sue has been with PTI since 2007 and brings more than 30 years' customer service experience, specifically serving the printing industry. She leads the customer service and art department team, ensuring clients' projects are delivered with the highest level of quality and professionalism. Sue works closely with our strategic account leaders, senior team members and our customers directly to develop strategies for successful engagement.

"Since I joined PTI, we have experienced exciting growth in our customer base, product offerings and solutions, and we have more exciting changes to come," said Sue.

In her spare time, Sue spends time with her husband, daughter and grandson. She enjoys reading for both education and pleasure, and taking mini getaways.

Jessica Sims, Chief of Staff / Controller

Jessica brings more than ten years' experience in Accounting and Human Resources. Her role at PTI consists of management and development of Operations as well as a focus in Managerial Accounting and all things tech.  Jessica is committed to continuous improvement within the organization in order to provide PTI’s customers with quality, cost-effective solutions customized to their specific needs. Personal interests include playing with her two boys and physical fitness!

Leigh Anne Silva, Staff Accountant and Human Resources Coordinator

Leigh Ann joined our team at PTI in October of 2017. She comes to us with 20 years' accounting experience.  Leigh Anne leverages her accounting skills to aid in the reporting and analyzing of financial data as well as specializing in compliance, payroll and human resources.  Leigh Anne enjoys life with her husband and her two adult children.  Her hobbies and interests include fitness and travel.
